Dr Tri

Dr Vi Tri Phuong—fondly known as “Doc Tri” (pronounced “Tree”)—brings a unique blend of experience, compassion, and dedication to patient care.

Of Chinese Vietnamese heritage and raised in Adelaide, Doc Tri proudly served 29 years full-time with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). Over nearly three decades, he fulfilled diverse roles as a soldier, aeronautical engineer, pilot trainee, and doctor, giving him a deep understanding of discipline, resilience, and service.

With a strong background in Aerospace and Occupational Medicine, Doc Tri is passionate about delivering empathetic, high-quality care that supports both the physical and mental wellbeing of his patients. His approach reflects the same commitment and integrity he demonstrated throughout his military career.

Outside of medicine, Doc Tri is an avid lover of dogs, sports, travel, and the arts—and he brings that same curiosity and creativity into his medical practice.
